College of Business Alkamel

The College of Business in Al Kamil was founded in 1432 AH following Royal Decree No. 54727 dated 11/18/1432 and the Higher Education Council Resolution No. 18/66/1432, aimed at offering higher education in diverse business disciplines to prepare male and female students for the labor market. 


The college includes two academic departments: the Department of Management Information Systems and the Department of Human Resources Management.

Vision: The first choice for future leaders.

Mission: The college strives to prepare and qualify innovative national talents who are distinguished academically and professionally in business disciplines and skills, through a stimulating academic and research environment and active community partnership.

The College aims to achieve academic and research excellence through developing high-quality and globally accredited programs that meet labor market demands, while enhancing students’ competencies, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills and fostering a culture of continuous learning. It strives to create a specialized educational and research environment that supports knowledge creation and investment in alignment with the university’s strategic focus areas. The college is also committed to building sustainable programs and partnerships that ensure financial balance and optimal resource utilization, and to promoting social responsibility and community engagement through initiatives that strengthen societal values and aspirations.

    The Deanship of Research and Innovation launches 2025 research programs.

    In line with the vision of the University of Jeddah, a modern Saudi university, and based on the Ministry of Education's orientations toward research and innovation linked to the national research priorities of the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority, the Deanship of Scientific Research and Innovation at the University of Jeddah announced the launch of advanced programs to support faculty members. This will enhance the university's standing, achieve its vision, and support the research capabilities of faculty members and students.
    Announcing the second edition of the Logistics and Supply Chain analytics book prepared by a College of Business Research team

    A research team from the from the College of Business is preparing the second edition of a research book entitled: "Innovations in Computational Logistics and Supply Chain Analytics" This book highlights the state of the art and challenges related to the design and the application of computational methods to solve logistic and supply chain management problems. It aims to present for readers recent computational logistic methods and supply chain analytics techniques designed and applied to support managers in improving such complex processes. The project of the second edition of the book will be presented in cooperation with the Saudi Logistics Academy and Laval University in Canada, and will be published by Springer in late 2025.
